Even when it exists on the academic level, the emphasis is on professional training in the current world, rather than trying to make them understand more of the value of the work of the past. I have been told that my book "America 'Toons In" has become part of some academic programs, but if there were means to train to work in both 2D film and 3D digital formats, I would feel I have made more of a difference.

It greatly annoys me that animation is digital by default these days. Glad you agree with me on this.
